Hi, my name is Shawn, I'm 17, and I am a boost addict. I became very interested in supercharged cars at the age of 13. This is when we put a pulley on the SSEi and I realized the ease of modifications. So at 14 when my dad got the GTP I was addicted. Then after he drove it for about 9 months, the mod bug really hit and it started going really fast really quick. Then my dad thought, well maybe I should get a beater, the '90 Turbo GP, thats where the turbo'* came in and after doing some work to that car and getting it running properly and getting a chip on it, I was in love. At this point I was almost 16, and forced induction was just awesome. I was looking around for a car at this point and really wanted a Fiero and was having some bad luck finding exactly what I wanted, and while browsing through the auto trader I came accross this Turbo GP STE and went and looked at it and I was already in love with the damn thing. Then the mods came and I realized how easy it is to make turbo cars fast, and at this same time my dads GTP is running low 12'*, and I'm thinking, "damn...boost is awesome." So then I fry a tranny in the STE, so I get it fixed and it goes again, so I finally get my hands on my Lumina which is also Turboed and I'm modding away at that. The STE gets a tranny swap starting next week so I'll have two turbo 3.1'* at the age of 17, and I have access to an SSEi, GTP, Turbo GP, and Supercharged MC SS, all of which run AT LEAST 14'*; 1, maybe two are good for 13'*; and one good for high 11'* with traction. There is no way its safe for me to have access to all this.

I don't have an SSEi, I just thought I would share my story about forced induction. Its starting to become an obsession, its actually almost getting out of hand. All my classmates in my Auto Technology class call me "Turbo."

Shawn

How in gods name do you get 30 mpg? The best I can get is 27mpg on the highway on a long highway trip. But on that trip there was that one *cough* Mustang GT *cough*.

I've gotten way over 30 on freeway trips. The one that suprised the hell out of me was the trip to Grand Junction, CO. 4 people, 80mph, on one tank I got 33. Wasn't expecting that good under those conditions. But the supercharger was sure fun in the mountains.

Wow, that is so cool! It'* also so cool to see people who keep their vows all the way and stand the test of time!

Me, I'm 37(married with children) and I really love my boost! Nothing like the power and feel of the Bonne tearing up the road with some slammin' music pumping out my BOSE system.

I've had the SE for just over 3 years since I entered communit college. My mom was affraid for me to drive long distances in the 88 Taurus so she let me drive the nicer SE. But as recent as today I have learned of some nice BOnnes in my area so I may upgrade to an SSEi and it will be under my ownership!

w000t!!!

Default SSEi and age

I have three boys but you can't them children anymore. The oldest is 45 , the next 42 and the youngest is 38. As a matter of fact it is because of the youngest that I have the 2000 SSEi. He bought it but did not like the four door body. Told me if would make the payments I could have it. I have not been a bit sorry.

Seems the median age here so far is 20, so I'll up the skew on the stats a bit! I'm 45 and love cruisin in my bonny at 100 mph down the open road! Smokey the bear be on the look out for this soon to be old timer!
