PM willwren. He'll be able to figure out how much toulene you can add to boost your octane.

With 104 octane you will have less likelyhood of detonation, thus bringing knock retard to a minimum. You'll also run cleaner, and the throttle response will be somewhat improved. I'd suggest not running it too often (unless you can afford to), but use premium at the minimum.

If he just put regular in get a bottle or two of octane boost and dump that it. A moth ball becomes methanol when put in the fuel, raising the octane level to obsurd levels, but I really wouldn't go there (the moth ball route -the odds are without proper knowledge on the proper mixture ratio you will do more harm than good). So go get a bottle of NOS octane boost, or some other octane booster and drop that in. After a short time your octane level should be pretty much up to par.

Yep. In the buick I had, it said that the first half of the tank went REALLY fast, and then the last half lasted a long time. My bonneville is exactly the reverse, but that'* due to a different gas tank shape I THINK, and keep in mind I have an older model. Just keep an eye on it, and tell us what you come up with once it'* down to the last 1/4 tank. Might be a good idea to check your gas mileage the next time you fill up

Same thing man the first half gooes real slowly but the last half three times as fast.
