Default SSEI better than Passat 1.8 turbo I have to prove it

Ok, I have a future father in law that just puchased an 03 Passat or Pissant as I lovingly refer to it as, Anyone have any good arguments why the Bonnie is better?, I covered all the easily thought of stuff but maybe one of you has something I can use to burn him. You should have seen the look on his face when I said- I wonder what would happen if we stripped all the airbags, and both cars went head on, Yeah, I think my Bonnie would destroy that in a crash. I totalled out my 97 SSE when some old lady turned in front of me, so I know first hand what safe tanks are cars are in a crash.

Yea, were talking about cars in totally different leagues.

But I totally agree with ya about the strength of our cars.

if you want cold hard proof look up the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times for the two. I suggest googling it.

Personally, I'd prove it to him by showing up with three women in the back seat, one riding shotgun, and yell "Beat that, dude!"

Of course, then the booze would wear off, and I'd be back in my real life, with the wife and kids in the car, and everybody yelling, and fighting, and the wife spilling coffee....

Take me now, Lord

Thats what my friends did over the weekend with their Denalis. A friend of mine was in love with the newer '03 Denalis rather than his '01. He drove the '03 and saw how disappointed he was with it. The only thing he liked was the power of the 6.0 but other than that he still would prefer his Denali over the newer ones.
