I totalled out my 97 SSE when some old lady turned in front of me, so I know first hand what safe tanks are cars are in a crash.

you got it in the bag. the 1.8t can be heavily modded for very cheap though, and turbo'* in general are fun to drive

Thats what my friends did over the weekend with their Denalis. A friend of mine was in love with the newer '03 Denalis rather than his '01. He drove the '03 and saw how disappointed he was with it. The only thing he liked was the power of the 6.0 but other than that he still would prefer his Denali over the newer ones.
