Default Spring Maintenance

Here in the Northeast spring has finally shown up. (%%@^@^ 2 weeks late)

Spring maintenance time is at hand.

Check vacuum lines for cracking
Possible tune up: plugs, wires, pcv and fuel filter
Throttle body cleaning
Transmission service
Check brake pads
Grease fittings never done at Jiffylube (if you go to a quick change place)
Engine degreasing/cleaning
Check tire pressure
Coolant flush and refill

All good things to think about to keep the car running well.

Good reminder!

Also, for those of you whose roads have been cleaned of salt, now is a good time to make sure the undercarriage has been well rinsed, especially in those dirt-collecting areas, like the fuel sender/lines, wheel wells, rear bumper support, etc.

Bill, need to add one more item to my list. Scrape the deer remnants off front of car.
