Default Speed Governer?

Anyone know what the top speed of a 2003 Bonneville SLE is (before it is speed governed)? I figure its safer to ask then to try

Some have been in to the 150s, but I don't suggest going there.

not sure on the newer bonnevilles, but the 92-95 were governed at 108, while the 96-99 I believe was 128. I've only verified my 93'* though.

The '05 GXP (with the V8 cuts at 146, but if you feather back the throttle and lightly accelerate again the limiter gives way. But not by much before the RPM limiter is reached. As Danthurs said, I wouldnt go there. At a buck and a half on an open road there are so many variables that can happen, at a time when it takes all your senses just to keep the car straight and forward. In addition even the GXP isnt suspension tuned for these speeds. Air starts getting under it around 140 and a feeling of driving on glass begins.
