Default Special Edition

Can anyone tell me what makes a 1993 ssei a Special Edition. Whats the difference. And is there anywhere that has an owners manual scanned in so it can be browsed on the net. I know nothing about my Bonnie and really want to know more about these cars. Thanks again, Chris :P

1993 Green SSEI 102,000 miles

There I fixed it I hope, Thanks Truewildman

Anniversary Edition of some sort? There'* this newer 1992-1999 Bonneville that'* parked down the street from my place sometimes... and there are what I think are 40th Anniversary badges or some year close to that. It'* an SE model, as well, with leather... and one missing foglight

It says Special Edition right in front of the shifter on the consol. I figured it was pretty common and still may be. Chris

Can you take a pic? I've never heard of it. Sounds like someone stuck it there.

I would guess that somebody stuck it on there. If not you have one unique car.

I have a fairly low-res pic so far of it.....waiting for a better pic of the font. He has the woodgrain interior, which I thought was last available in 92, and didn't cover the ashtray lid or all of the center console. So the woodgrain may be aftermarket. If that'* the case, this is just a 'stick-on', as it'* on the lid of the ashtray, with wood grain under it.

The wood grain appears to be a flexible contact paper applique. The true stock woodgrain was total coverage, but on his I can see the perimeter of gray.

I'll reserve judgement for a clearer pic, but for now, I'd have to say, NOT GM.
