Thumbs down Spare tire!!!

Did any of the Bonnevilles (all years) ever come with a full size spare???

I got a piece of metal stuck in my tire today and drove over to the only place besides pepboys open which was Tire kingdom (Had alignments and wheel balanced there B4 on my Intrepid).. So they pulled it in and took off the tire, called me back to take a look at the tire and tells me that they can't patch this tire b/c the side wall had been rubbing some and made a rubbing trail on the inside wall and alittle on the outside wall.. (the tire was like that when i purchased it 3 months ago) But I could clearly see that the metal in the tire could be patched or plugged, but i prefer it be patched... so i just told them no!! im not going to purchase a $200 tire from you, just put the Spare on and i'll take the tire to the Local Toyota Dealership on Monday so they can put the new $200 tire on at no charge to me with my roadside warranty i have on the car. So i pull out the Spare and man, this thing looks sick!!! The Spare is this skinny glossy black 5 spoke wheel... I don't think a full size spare would fit in the truck in the spare place will it? If so i'm def going to be picking up a factory GXP wheel off ebay real soon!!!

Pontiac engineers didn't make room for cup-holders and spare-tires. I hope i will never need to use it. Looks like one pot hole in my city would eat that thing up.

lol.... I drove the car to work today b/c i didn't know if the toyota dealership was going to patch the tire or order a new tire!! but they did say that i would need a new one!! So I just left the wheel and tire with them so when the tire come in that they ordered (same tire as the other 3 Goodyear Gforce) they can just put it on and balance it and i can run the car by so they can put it on the car!! So I guess till Wed or Thrusday (haven't figured out why it takes so long to order a tire, when they can get one just down the street!!!) i'll be cruising the intrepid around!!

took the tire/wheel up to the toyota dealership and they said they would just order another tire!! So i left it there and they called the next day (tuesday) and said that the new tire had came in and it had been mounted and balanced... Now i have the spare back in the trunk, and the toyota dealership is getting me a OE GXP wheel (used) from somewhere in TX for $55 shipped to their dealership. Should be here next week sometime!!! Not sure if it will fit in the spare hole, and if thats the case i'll just leave it in the garage till i need it again!!
