 I think I am right.......But you were able to retrofit the 92-95 bracket onto the 96-99 HL?

NERV 12-02-2006 10:04 PM

furthermore, the 92-95 headlamp brackets are different than the 96-99 brackets. So, all the members that have made conversions over to the 96-99 style for their 92-95 have had to make custom brackets. ;)

yes DJ...VERY different brackets....the 92-95 brackets will work...there will be some modification to the headlight and the bracket, but will be very simple

Bonneville92V688 12-02-2006 10:41 PM

Hmmm.... I know what I am doing to the 92 as the first mod.

ya as soon as i do the changes....what i did there was bascially bolted up the bracket to the HL....there are a few changes to make it "look" right with the Body Lines....now the corner is a different story....not really sure what im gonna do yet...there are alot of things that need to be considered and alot of fitting and testing.....the 92-95 bracket is by far the easiest to do this instead of the 96-99

i will update as i progress on the changes

Very nice, Patty-cakes.

Now you going to admit that the 96-99 are better?

sandrock 12-03-2006 12:41 PM

Thats HAWT.

Wonder if the Trans-Lumina APVs from 96-up would work too :?:

well is simple. any/most of the Modeled reflector HLs are better then the Cut glass ones.
Also leves headway for doing HIDs with projectors :D

Am I wierd if I like the glass ones better?

Hey Pat, can I buy the eyebrows off the 93 headlights?

The eyebrows are part of the headlights  You'll need to buy the lights themselves. You can easily make the eyebrows the way he did it.

Pat, nice work. I like the smooth glass of the 96-99 headlights. The only thing that doesn't look right on that other guy's car is where it meets the grill. And the light bulges out in front of the grill from the side view. But I'd swap for the clean look of the lights.
