Default So, what to do now?

It seems I just can't get rid of the '94. It'* a shame too because we could REALLY use the money. The initial plan was to trade BOTH the SSE and the Malibu in (the SSE to help take up the negative equity) and get something cheaper. But, two things are working against me on that...1) Not only am I upside down on the Malibu, I am WAY upside down on it...more like fully capsized. 2) The dealer would only give me what a wholesaler would give them for the SSE...which would be about 500 bucks That wouldn't even put a dent in the negative equity.

So, plan B...sell the Bonneville outright, get more money, and take that with the Malibu instead. But...thanks to the economy...that isn't working either. And I refuse to go much lower than what I was initially asking for it...my rock bottom price would be about 1600 (what I payed for it a year ago BEFORE any repairs). Still no dice. Oh yeah...and Alyssa flat out said "I would rather bus it to school than to drive that beast". So I doubt she will be driving at all.

So, now I have a perfectly good car that is not on my insurance anymore just sitting around doing nothing. I still would like to have something to turn a wrench or two on, and the '94 would fill the bill nicely. But what to DO to it....

Submit your votes folks...

In memory of Jinx huh?

Lets see....how many members on here are getting or already have parts from her?

I'm gonna laugh my arse off if some majorly bad juju happens to the cars...not that it would be funny mind y'all...but it would give a new definition to the dreaded Curse. Kinda like James Dean and his Porsche

Wren and Blownville were the first to receive "gifts". So lets see what happens......

I voted that you keep it and mod it heavily. That'* a great idea! You've got another L27 bottom end...

If I keep it, I doubt I will do a full L67 conversion on it, per se. I have a semi-good engine sitting in the garage right now (Jinxs old motor) that will get rebuilt using L67 pistons and rods, but it will have the L27 intake...ported and polished runners. Reason being is that fuel ain't comin' down, and I'm pretty sure I can eek out enough power from an L27 configuration to keep up with STOCK 92/93 SSEis and burn regular fuel while doing it.

Pretty sure OBD2 Rev. B will go ahead as planned as well. That won't take much work to do...nowhere near the work the prototype did.

And paint...she needs paint.
