Default So my coworker calls me over...

The guy in the office with an 03 SRT-4 called me over this morning.

"So John, did Oldsmobile ever have any supercharged cars?"

"One or two, why?"

"One of the smaller ones?"

"No, I think only the 88 LSS and 98 Regency got the L67."

"Not the Alero?"

"No, but there might be a kit."

"Cause I was pulling onto the road out here, tried to get ahead of some lowly looking Oldsmobile. Then I heard tires and whine, like your car. I gave er hell, but he kept ahead of me to 80, then he ran out of steam or let off."

"Could it have been an Intrigue? Cause they had the 3800 and an L67 swap wouldn't be difficult."

"Yeah, maybe it was one of those."

I winked and went on my merry way.

Didn't the Alero have the 3.4? Cause there'* a bunch of turbo stuff out for that motor.

We discussed it later and decided it was an Intrigue.

Keeping up with an SRT-4 is no easy task for any 3400.... Basically gotta turbot he 3400, then you're still heavier then the SRT, and you don't have an LSD (if equipped).
