so in 93.....

GM/Pontiac had plans to do BOSE.....

YUP in the FSM on page 6E3-C18-9 Figure C18-5....it shows a BOSE relay....glad they stuck to the Delco Amped System

Bose designed the amp and the dual voice coil system in the SSEi.

FYI, I was told this by an online rebuilder of AC Delco stereos a couple years ago when I was looking for repair potential of a 93 CD HU that I'd found on eBay.

Stock 93 SSEi stereo was pretty top end for its time, still sounds pretty good too.

Yessir. Which is why my SSEi stereo is still OEM. Passengers are wowed by the sound quality daily (when it'* not tucked in the garage for the winter).
