Snow Tires
Well with the last two storms we've had, i've decided i need some snow tires or better all season tires.
What would you guys prefer? I have michelin tires now i believe and they dont have a very good tread for the snow, so any help would be appreciated.
I also want to only spend about 50-60 dollars per tire..thanks

sam'* club carries pacemark snowtrakkers. is that price range the are going to be just about the best tire you can get for the snow. just got to put them on late in the season and take them off early as they are a soft compound tire.
edit: this is the one you want:

since sams is probably sold out of them already:

My Bridgestone Potenza G 009s did AWESOME in the ice/sleet storm yesterday evening. Dry road handling is excellent as well, as it is an all season ultra high performance tire. I know ice isn't typically something to test your new tires out on, but it was like an inch and a half of accumulating sleet. I didn't have one problem, and tires didn't spin once, unlike all the vehicles around me. There was a 2wd newer Ram 1500 that just couldn't seem to get a grasp on the road at one of the red lights, you'd hear him ease on and off the throttle trying to not let the tires spin. I took off way ahead of him with no slippage whatsoever.
I paid 360 shipped to my door, and installed them myself where I used to go to school.

My wifes Winterforce snows do better than my Blizzaks imo and they're only ~$80 each installed and tax included around here. make that "WERE", I could find them online around here at all now.
