So...Should I run one bottle though each Bonne next oil change?

Does that mean they only tested it in the bathroom? As compared to their Laboratories???

I used it once. Couldn't tell ya if it did any good or not, tho, as the car was a POS to begin with, and no matter how much you polish a turd....

Anyone here willing to run a test for us?

I need a reasonably high mileage bonne (shouldn't be hard to find), stock is preferred.

Colder the weather the better, I'd like a vid of a cold morning start up (no heaters..sorry) .. I'm expecting to hear some valvetrain noise.

I'll send you money for slick 50. Then change the oil, drop in the S50 and run for about 30 minutes. Next morning.. new vid.

Let'* run our own test and see what occurs. Who'* game for a free bottle of slick 50?

For what it'* worth, I used Slick 50 in the 90 SSE and with 484,000km I figured if it was good for another 200,000km. I used Slick 50 about 3 times in that car. I don't have Slick 50 in the 95 SSEi, but as Bill suggests. I'll pick up a bottle today and well see how this works, although it doesn't get that cold in Canada.........eh?

I have never used Slick 50 because I once heard that all it does is mask a problem for a short time, but eventually the problem will return. I know quite a few people that have used it in their cars to mask problems so they can sell the car. I wouldn't recommend using it, just fix what'* wrong with the car and get it over with. Not saying there is something wrong with your car, just making a statement. (JUST MY OPINION, DON'T YELL AT ME LOL)

oil now is high tech enough and loaded with additives and such so that the use of a seprate additve would be point less, it may even shorten the life of your oil. thats just what i learned in school about this junk.

I'm willing to participate. Exactly 160,000 miles, but I have no valvetrain noise on cold startup. Never have had any abnormal noises.

Just my $o.o2
IIRC DuPont nailed them for the same things, that is why you don't see "Teflon" on the label.
