That'* definitely an SE.

It has the SE markings on the door. No SLE badge.
Wrong grill if it was an SLE.
No leather.
No steering wheel controls.
No ECC.
No moonroof.
HUBCAPS. lol

That'* an SE, no doubt about it.

I see NOTHING SLE about that car. In 99, the SLE had the SSEi body cladding and bumpers. It does have bucket seats and teh upgraded guages, but no tell tale signs of an SLE.

Upgraded guages was not the right term.....unpgraded dash display? IIRC (at least in '97), the base model did not get the volt gauge or oil pressure guage, just idiot lights. The picture shows at least the dash with additional guages. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, though.

They probably do. I must have been dreaming of some other car, or my senility has returned....again.

I saw one (here) that had the base BASE model guages. It was a 93, IIRC. Looked 'efn weird.

Anyway, that car is definitely not an SLE.

His title might say SLE. My insurance statement classifies our 99 as "SE/SLE" so I could see how his DMV lopped off the "SE" portion.
