I bought silverstars highs and lows for my 93' almost 2 years ago. I transplanted them in my 97' and put the 97'* stock bulbs in the 93'.

Had my high beams for ~2 1/2 years I think, no probs. Low beams only for about 6 months, so I guess I'll find out how they hold up.

I don't have DRL on my 93, but my 98 Z71 dropped the voltage in half for daytime. Might extend the life. I've had my Silver Star low beams for 2 years now. Still going strong. My Cool Blue Highs are even older.

You know.. I have the original bulbs in mine.. 16 years old, and it still illuminates the road fine. Who wants to buy my lights? loL

My dad had silverstars in his 'burb for at least 2 years now.. I don't know if they burned out, but I remember putting them in when he moved into his new house.

I put silverstars in my 95....Burned out the Driver'* low beam in just under a month. I have the silverstar sealed beams in my pick up for over 2 yrs now without a problem. I switched my low beams to xtravisions....Not sure if I like them or not, but I need to re-aim my lights anyways because they're all out of wack.
