keep in mind you will have to replace the CCR struts.

If you can afford it, then go for it. If it would require taking out a loan for school then no.
Debt=bad.

Whats the KBB price on it?

I'd go for something with less electronic crap to go wrong :( Just my opinion, hehe Give me something that rides nice, analog gauges, CD Player, decently powerful engine and a minimum of unnecessary, complicating electronic doohickeys, and I'm happy =p like a nicer version of my 93 Bonnie SE =) Hopefully in the works, hehe...

Oh? When was the last time you heard of some major electronic stuff going on? (Except the one struck by lightening, that doesn't happen every day ) My '93 has, now, 207,000 miles on it, and all electronics still work fine. Just wondering if you've heard of problems?

you're lucky, many 87-91 SSE'* didn't fare very well when it came to the reliability of interior gizmos. =/

repin *: hell yeah.. I know exactly what your talking about . Actually mine'* doing pretty good.. I mean, the climate control works, audio works [great I might add], and its just the gauge cluster that went out [waiting for a call back from the junkyard with the parts, hopefully within the next 45 min, like the guy there said..], umm, lets see.. I think it may be more of just being the 87-91 bonne'* are older, and electronically, back then.. things weren't quite as progressed as they are now.. and of course refinements have been made across the way. Although for 13-17 year old cars.. that is not bad, think about 17 years ago [if you can, I can't.. so i'll just let you guys figure it out yourselves], there weren't computers in every home.. there were terminals.. that well.. weren't exactly computers.. and barely anyone had internet, and this isn't the internet i'm talking about, this is internet where you talked to school or work, to transmit 8 bit terminal crap, that led you nowhere.. so think.. a 13-17 year old car, with a digital display! now, I still see very few cars these days with those.. especially for ones which you could buy for a grand or two.. so yeah.. njoy guys.. njoy your woderful electronic gadget.. which are fun to play with.. when your parked, not driving

I understand, True, but it'* not that they USUALLY don't go bad. You get your good and bad cars, and some in the middle, each with their own problems. You obviously got a good one, go you :P But you better have some money if those electronic gadgets DO start going :? I'll be honest, the HUD WOULD be cool to have; I've always like that And I've always wanted a car with a sunroof, hehe Until it starts leaking though, I bet, lol... But the compass, CCR, etc., I can do without

in the case the near 18 year old Toyota we had, its interior gizmos were flawless up until the last day... digital dash? worked 100%. audio? 100%. automatic climate control? yeah. power windows and locks? immaculate. performance shift option on the electronically controlled tranny? it worked. I think it'* a GM thing
