Should I do it or not?

Default Should I do it or not?

I'm trying to decide between gold and chrome for the door edge trim. I'm converting from the Gold Edition emblems and gold grille pieces to chrome as I plan on installing the grey 18" wheels soon.
But since it has gold pin-striping (can't remove them -they're painted on), and chrome SLE badges on the doors what should I do? I don't intend to do it over-kill like, just about 12" pieces from the top of the lower door moulding to the top of the door (bottom of window).
Or should I just leave it clean? I had the gold before, but took it off due to fading.

Clean isn't really clean -there are a couple chips on two or three door edges that would be covered by the trim. They are basicly the only chips or scratches other than from when the car was keyed two weeks ago and the two light scratches on the trunk.

Well of the 2 color choices, I'd prolly go w/ the gold, because of the pin striping. I think the silver way look a lil awkward w/ the pin stripes. But then again picturing it in my mind neither would look bad. It comes down to YOUR preference.

Yikes! I am no help, cuz I could easily change my mind on this one! lol The more I think about it, the silver would off set the gold stripes and bring out the badging more. OK, I'M SHUTTING UP NOW, since I am too wishy washy on the subject!

Anything that is less obvious. IMO door triming can look tacky, why not get regular black or paint it the same color as your car?

Leave it as is. I can't stand to see tacky add on chrome on cars. YUK! Especially on a full size vehicle.
