Should I buy it? - Page 3 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Go to www.kbb.com and show your dad the book value of that car so he knows you're practically stealing that car!

Here, I did it for you. With the mileage, in "fair" condition, the book value is $3,755. And that'* Private Part value, not retail.

Now, I'm not suggesting that this would actually be an investment, but you'll only be paying half for a car that should last you a very long time.

I did reread those posts. It looked like the auction was on the up and up, but the second chance offer was the scam, like they usually are. *Never* accept a second chance offer on eBay.

But, if the original auction was also a scam, then I digress. It just didn't seem that way.
