Default should I buy..

Ok, My car is having electrical issues. Hopefully it won't be hard to navigate and solve, but this makes me think I should look into something new. I have a loan currently for $6500, private seller, under 110k and 98 and newer. The loan is not exactly what I want, but I think it might be the best choice for me at the moment. So this leads me to my next question: What do I buy? I have been looking a bit and there are a couple things I would like

Suburban/pickup with 4x4

larger 5spd car

3800 powered car.

In looking i have found a couple that have fit into my range.

1999 Nissan Maxima SE 5spd, 106k loaded. Leather, Bose Sunroof, spoiler, alloys for $5500

1998 SSEi. Loaded. Every option. 94k $5500

1998 Suburban LT 99k, leather, cd, power seat, 4x4. $6500 - only issue is it is at a dealer in Detroit so my parents would have to buy it first and then I buy it off them.

Also looking for a Regal GS/GSE. 1999 or 2000.

Which should I go for? The other option is to sell a couple things and fly to North Carolina and drive that 94 SSEi back up. It would be $900 with Flight, gas, and purchase price if I get it for $500.

Right now I am really liking driving 5spd so this is tough.

I am driving this currently:

Hey Geoff, as much as I love Suburbans, I don't think it'* very practical unless you have kids.

Maxima, tempting but I'll still go for the GS or the SSEi, they're still damn nice cars and you already know how to fix most of them so why learn new things about a maxima

Hey you asked..

All good points.

As for a suburban, I have a 6'x6'x12' enclosed trailer and a 24' open car trailer at my parents place, and friends with a 20' open car trailer up here. I also love my parents 99 sub and my roommate just left with his 99 yukon so I don't have access to something that can haul. I tend to junkyard a lot, and am always working on something which would make it practical.

I do love 5 spd now that I am getting good at it.

But deep down there is always the love for the bonneville. At this moment, I am not sure if I would sell mine or not if I got something new. Might just look for a second T25 and have some fun with it. hell, I got three chances to get it right before I run out of motors...

Hmm, well if you think you can afford the steep gas price for the Suburban, I don't see why you can't get that.

I know I have a solution, you buy the SSEi, you'll have a grand left, correct, take that grand and find a nice used SIlverado for the trailer pulling task. Problem solved.
