Did you take her out for a ride?
ask if the rear window regs have been replaced.
ask for a carfax.

looks like a nice ride to me.

First and foremost they are slow

Anycar can have problems if they are not taken care of. Unless you are the original owner (or know them personally) you will not have a clue how it was treated.

What trim is your GP? If its a GTP don'e expect quite the same performance out of an 2000+ SSEi. They are heavy. But, much nicer inside and with more options than a GTP.

Personally I wouldn't buy a six year old car or a car with more than 25,000 - 30,000 miles but that is just me...

I disagree. Too low of miles can and are a problem in cars 5+ years old. They usually sit too loong and gum up. Rough idle, early tuneups, and other fuel related issues can happen. My rule is 5-10 years/ 50-100K. 10+ years 100-200K.

Check the steering for intermediate shaft issues. Still looks like a sweet ride to me.

Looks like a sweet ride to me.

The first thing I'd be doing is replacing the lower intake manifold gaskets. Bottom line--they're junk on the 3800s....especially the older ones.
