Definately one of the strongest running engines out there. How many different platforms did GM stick this powerplant into? 12-14?

I couldn't agree with them anymore. Most reliable powerplant I have ever seen.

I think GM used the series II L36 and L67 engines in the C body, F Body, G body and H body... I think thats a pretty large list of cars... Seems that Upper Midsized and Full sized GM cars used this engine... A very wide spread engine for sure..
Yep...and served the Flint, MI auto workers with lots of job secruity! Couldn't be happier with the engine plant up on Bristol Rd.!

I've driven multivalve engines that don't even come close to the smoothness of this engine. Today I was driving my family around so I was taking it easy and the quietness was remarkable. Even with barely touching the pedal with 4 people in the car it would get up to speed quickly.

With almost 260,000 miles and counting on my original '94 engine it better be on the list!. . . . . . . .esp. the way I abuse it!
