The problem is that I own two with different specs. Series 1 L67's are split. 92/93 are the same (more or less) and 94/95 are identical.
92/93 are 205hp, 260tq (92's are thought to be a tiny bit less) 94/95 are 225hp, 275tq The numbers are decieving if you only look at the hp, and don't look at what rpm's the torque peaks at. Then it starts getting impressive. The Series 1 L67's peak torque at a VERY low RPM, even when compared to the S2 L67. |
92's were thought to be less when we thought 93 L67s had roller rockers, but they don't.

Even the non-roller rockers are different between 92 and 93. Some other minor differences we're aware of, such as pistons (that were produced for the factory) even though replacements are now the same.
92's have never seemed to respond to the same mods in the same way as 93's. |
The rockers were only different to allow the bolt size change so all 93's could use the same heads.
Maybe I'm blind to some of the 92/93 things, but from what I see, they are typically the same in how they respond, IMO. |
And mods are off-topic anyway. IMHO, 92 and 93 put down the same numbers stock despite some minor differences.
