People were successful. My attempt was pretty shitty, but it worked for the other ppl.

You'll need to create some files, and it'* not the easiest thing ever.

I decided to order hat I posted the link for. So I will use my laptop and it will only do OBDII for my Malibu, but hey it was only 99$, not the 700$ Gordy spent to get both. Mind you if I had as much $$$ as Gordy did they I would have it too, lol.

I have been in contact with the owner/developer of the product, and he informs me that he is releasing a new version of the software in the next 24 hours AND is working on some major enhancements that he will also be releasing. I am trying to find out what they enhancements are going to be. I also mentioned that a few people are looking for a solution that will do OBDI and OBDII.

Mike, keep me updated on whether it'll do OBD1.5 or not. I still want a solution for all 3.

Yep already ordered it.

I did have a look at the digimoto, and it is pretty much identical. I think they both get their hardware from ELM ( a Canadian company, go figure) that produces the interface modules. They each made their own software. The first version of that Pro Scan was done in visual basic, but version2.0 is done in C++.
