Default Rust problem
What is the easiest way to take care of rust that is right behind the rear doors weather seal? Its pretty rusted. Just behind that seal, no where else.

Wire brush it off, and get a can of Stop rust.

Use Rust Converter, i used it on my boat trailor. it was pretty good. it turns the rust to a hard material. to stop the rust from spreading...

You guys know what I'm talking about right. Its right behind the seal. I can't really get to it. Should I brush the rust converter on the top where I can reach and let it drip down and see what happens?

I'd remove the seal, if it'* rusting behind it, the re-affix.

remove seal sand down area then put the stop rust primer then paint it spray paint will work cuz no 1 i gonna see the door jamb unless they r looking

if I take the door seal off to get to the rust will I have to buy a new seal?

Agreed...but in a pinch, you don't have to unless you damage it taking it off...On my Saturn, there'* a flange that it rides, and you just glue it back in...
