What should the RPM gauge be at between 70- 75 mph?

I would guess between 3500-4000rpm at 70mph.
Thats assumeing you were in over drive?

I am always in overdrive cuz everything is highway. My car runs abaout 2500 rpms and wanted to make sure it was about right.

like i said not for sure on yours but mine runs about 4000-4500

isn't 5000 like redlining it? I was always told not to let mine hit 5000

Somewhere around 2400, I believe. Anything much higher is a problem with your transmission.
