Just a question about rotors, can i purchase some slotted or drilled/slotted rotors a local auto store? just wondering if they had them available or if i would have to order them online.

I think that may be an online order only IINM. But slotted rotors are much more preferred over cross drilled for our application.

SOME parts stores carry slotted rotors. If I were you, I wouldn't get drilled rotors, they pretty much take away braking surface and suck in my opinion.

oh ok, well I just want to get rotors that are silver color. The whole slotted or drilled is not a big concern.

Or buy powerslots (online for the best price you can find) and enjoy the fact that they nickel plate them, so the 'unused' portions never rust. I swear by them.

take the old ones off... wirewheel them, paint them silver and slap them back on...

the part that the pads touch will be rubbed off during your first braking...

I dont know what wirewheeling is and probably have no trust in going about it. Unless its pretty easy to do. and my rotors that i have on right now are in terrible shape.
