Default ROADkill

Killed a good road last week, done a few cars, too, a Jetta TDI saw my taillights, but the road was the best so far. Next time I'll take my camera along. Anyone wanna see a pic of a HUD at 125? I ran out of road. Anybody know what I'd top out at? I'm tempted to try it again on a nice cool morning. Things were smooth at up to about 115, then started getting light on the front end.

My tranny is still panting.

Nice kill on the Jetta. SSEis are governed to 126mph due to the OE tire speed ratings.

Yup. I saw that poor car.....and driver. You know how the old age and wisdom thing is supposed to go? I've gotta be one of the oldest guys here.....does that mean I'm wiser? Seriously, you know that magic kind of road that amazes you even when you know it'* there.....you pop over the hill and see nothing but 4 or 5 miles of pure, straight, clean asphalt, and not another car in sight? YOU try to resist temptation

BTW, my dad taught me how to drive

Old wiser LOL I am getting crazier as I get older. Of course my car falling apart has helped to keep me in check. I know many “old” guys who are lunatics and are great at it.

TY
