Okay, so Saturday I'm planning on a road trip. Its gonna be my first in the Bonneville since I got it last September. I was just curious what you all do to prepare for a trip. What kind of things do you check for? The only problems Im aware of are my valve gaskets and upper intake are seeping oil. But I just got the coolant flushed (with the Green stuff) and new rotors up front. The trip is probably gonna be 700 miles round trip. Any suggestions? Thanks.
700 miles round trip that is weak lol I did 2000 in 48 hours that was a crappy couple days just make sure tire pressure is correct and check all your fuids before you go other then that enjoy and be safe
Your "upper intake" is really your SC, and it can't seep oil. It must be seeping coolant.
Before I went on that far of a trip I'd correct the coolant leak.
The valve covers should be addressed, but won't affect you on this trip. Just keep an eye on the oil level.
