Default Rhino ramps

Well i bought a set of the 12000lb rhino ramps and i went to test em out but i cant get up on em, everytime i get close i barely tap on the gas pedal and the car just goes right over em and i dont want to damage anything (girlfriends car) Anyone have any experience with these and suggestions on how to do this easily with a FWD car?

dont those ramps have the lip on the back side? if you are going over that lip, you really need to be more easy on the gas. if they are short enough, maybe try to put them in back of the front tires and back up on them.

When driving up the ramps slightly apply the brakes, so you will have some resistance added to the car Lead Foot.

Ride the brake and the gas at the same time and be very gentle. I watch out the window as I get up on mine.

Thanks guys, helped alot, i knew there was the lip but ive got size 14 shoes so its hard to just press a little anyways, got it up finally and im glad i finally have some easy way to get the car up besides jacks, also makes it much easier to put the jackstands under
the car.
