Default Rhino ramps

Well i bought a set of the 12000lb rhino ramps and i went to test em out but i cant get up on em, everytime i get close i barely tap on the gas pedal and the car just goes right over em and i dont want to damage anything (girlfriends car) Anyone have any experience with these and suggestions on how to do this easily with a FWD car?

dont those ramps have the lip on the back side? if you are going over that lip, you really need to be more easy on the gas. if they are short enough, maybe try to put them in back of the front tires and back up on them.

When driving up the ramps slightly apply the brakes, so you will have some resistance added to the car Lead Foot.

Ride the brake and the gas at the same time and be very gentle. I watch out the window as I get up on mine.
