Default relocating the pcm?

just wondering if their is any way to relocate the pcm in a 2000 bonne? since the battery is under the rear seat i was thinking of putting the pcm there also. is this possible???

anything is possible, question is, is it worth it? You'd have to run all the wiring to teh back, extending all of it as well.

There is a lot of wiring attached to that thing. We had to undo a few grounds and move them around in the engine bay just to get my PCM enough wire length to get it inside the SLP CAI. Im sure you could extend all the wires but just watch the grounds.

I am trying to clean up the engine bay for a more "show car" look. I was trying to stay away from making a custom pcm tray to give the engine a more clean look. any other thoughts?

I can already see shift lag.......

Its like me puting extension on my fog light wires. They get warmer, resistance is up, performance is down. Dont overlook the fact that more resistance WILL affect performance..........

make a custom tray that has something neat on it, and no one would guess it'* a PCM.

Yep make a custom tray, anything under the hood can be dressed up including the coolant resivor..right jason lol

would DIY stores have sheets of plastic you could cut into a box for your PCM?
