I was thinking of painting the callipers red and couldnt decide on painting the rear drums too or just leave them go. has anyone done this or what do you think

Not sure how that would look. Do you think red would look good being you have a purple car? Just a thought. I would maybe do gloss black or something not as noticeable. Just my opinion.

yea I hear that but I always see the red on cars and have only seen red yellow and blue paint

ask Fuelforthesoul1999 (Cody) about his old red calipers.

Personally, I would find the Duplicolor can that matches your paint code of the body of your car, and do both the calipers and the drums in that color.

Yeah I doubt they make high temp Dark Cherry Metallic. Silver if ANYTHING on the brakes. I think red would clash with the DCM, but that'* my uneducated thought only. I've never seen it in person.

Don't do it, they're ugly as sin.

I ended up painting mine silver. You could alway paint them black to hide the rust.

I spray mine black. Covers the orange color and keeps them lookin' pretty nice. Just used krylon chassis black (satin finish). They kind of disappear instead of showing up orange. Makes the wheels look nicer.

I think drums painted ANY bright/contrasting color looks pretty cheesy. I agree, black would be the best.

yeah a glossy black is exactly what i would go with.
