yes, definately go for a 3 phase product like mothers or meguiars. first coat cleaner, second coat polish, third coat wax. time consuming but worth it. my car has never felt that smooth (even compared to clay bar)

Definitly clay your car first. Multistep products will always give you a better shine.

Ususally when I am done washing, and after its been waxed at least once, I use Meguirs Quick Detailer. I finally managed to get the pearl paint to reflected....finally

I have yet to wax the car, its simply Eagle One Wax as you Dry and that quick detailer spray...

A "polish" will actually remove wax and maybe even paint. Be sure you apply a wax after you polish.

Well after a good wax I use Black Magic'* Wet detail & polish spray. I have used Mother'* & meiguars but The Wet seem to give my car a better shine and smoother finish. It'* also great for between waxes and gives my car a just wax look. I love this stuff. And unlike Mother'* spray, it doesn't leave stricks. I got all of my friends using the WET. But I say try them all and find what works best for you. That'* really the only way to find out. I did! Holla back......
