Recomended polish??
yes, definately go for a 3 phase product like mothers or meguiars. first coat cleaner, second coat polish, third coat wax. time consuming but worth it. my car has never felt that smooth (even compared to clay bar)
Definitly clay your car first. Multistep products will always give you a better shine.

Ususally when I am done washing, and after its been waxed at least once, I use Meguirs Quick Detailer. I finally managed to get the pearl paint to reflected....finally
I have yet to wax the car, its simply Eagle One Wax as you Dry and that quick detailer spray...

A "polish" will actually remove wax and maybe even paint. Be sure you apply a wax after you polish.
