Default Recall Phone call

Did anyone receive an automated phone call recently about their Bonneville? While at work today my wife told me she received a phone call about a recall for our Bonneville.
I thought it rather strange as I believe there is only 2 recalls applicable to the 99 Bonneville. TIA!

never heard of any recalls.. isn't it kind of late for recalls on a 99?
i get phone calls about "my insurance" all the time on my cell. its an automated thing, no clue how they got my number as i only give it to friends. when i press the button to be removed from their list, it says "this feature is un-available"

a bit off topic, sorry.

Interesting. I've never heard of phone calls for recalls (not that it isn't possible I suppose). Usually if it'* big enough for them to phone, something would be in the news. Generally, recall notices are sent by post. A phone call to the GM customer assistance centre would likely answer the question. I believe (at least in Canada) they have an option if you're calling about a recall notice.
