I wanted to know what is the off,min, and max settings on the rear view mirror for?

It'* Auto Dimming. When it knows it'* dark outside, and it senses a car behind you with headlights on, it dims automatically for you.

I'm not sure why this is in Detailing and Appearance, so I'm moving it.
