The SSE started in 1988. 1999 was the last year for the SSE.
The SSEi started in 1992 and is still made today.
The SE started in 1987 and is still made today.
The LE started in 1987. 1991 was the last year for the LE.
The SLE began as an option package on the SE sometime around 94. SLE badges didn't appear until 1998, and still appear today on an SLE model.

There are some differences between the SLE and SSE. From 94-99 the instrument panel is different. No compass on an SLE. Also the SSE comes with a stiffer suspension. The foglamps were different until 98. I think the SSE has other standard items, I'm not sure about all of the other ones.

That'* pretty cool to have a rare Bonnie. My last two cars were pretty rare (6 made and 40 something made) and I'm really enjoying having something that'* common. I don't have to worry about it anymore, I can just enjoy the ride.

Thanks for the welcome.

A little history on the SLE. I was reading a story in Motor Trend that the Series II SC was to be offered in the the '96 base Bonnie SE. As it turns out only 2 years were the Series II SC offered in the base Bonnie '96 and '97

Anyway, I went to my local Poncho dealer and special ordered an SE with the 1-SD package that is basically leather seats, auto climate, and traction control. I wanted the SC engine and sunroof. The dealer said that they could get my car without the engine option in 2 days from another dealer. I said no thanks I'll wait. It took about 8 weeks to produce. It was pretty cool special ordering a car. That engine is great!!!

Also the SLE has no badges on it or plastic side panels like the SSE. The only give away is the SUPERCHARGED badge right below the key hole on the trunk like. I figured that way the victim could read what it was that blew by them. It looks like a total sleeper.

As a side Pontiac Enthusiast magazine tested a '96 SLE with a supercharged engine just like mine and get it bone stock with only rear shock stiffners and bigger front meats down to 14.5s.

If anyone is interested in finding out production figures for your model year let me know and I'll get the Pontiac office number that can help you out.

First of all, Welcome to the club, sle-sc! You do have a very rare car indeed!

Now, I am interested in knowing how many 95 SE'* with the L67 were produced. If you could provide me with the phone number or any other info, I would greatly appreciate it.

Secondly, I missed the second member with the SE with an SC, who is it? I don't feel so alone anymore

Finally, What exactly is the 1SD rpo?

I would like to know where I can get the "SUPERCHARGED" badge to add to my LSS. I de-badged the rear, and was thinking that something like that would be a nice addition. Guess I'll have to stop by my local Pontiac parts counter...

DMC, Jr's3800 or myself can help you with that if you give us the year and color of your car. We can give you price and part number.

Ok....request from Pontiac....Don't all start calling!

They're compiling a list of production numbers by model and year for us. I should have all the data Monday or Tuesday, and will post it in Techinfo, Specifications.

This data will NOT detail the production numbers for the L67 option on SSE, SLE, or SE models, so you few guys that want to call, you are welcome to!

They didn't want to get hammered by hundreds of calls, so I took the initiative to ask for all the data for us.
