I have seen about five/six of the light teal metallic cars, in varying trim levels. One was odd though, in that it had the graphite black interior...???

Default light teal metallic

Thank-you to everyone who responded. As for the light teal metallic, it'* clear that it is not a common color, at least not for 96. It makes me wonder why though, as it is quite appealing, not just to myself, but if the many responses to my recently posted photos are any indication, it is a very pleasing color to almost everyone (one negative response to the teal leather interior). Perhaps the color didn't seem so appealing 11 years ago, I don't know.
It would be nice to know if there is a list somewhere, showing production totals for different colors. I would be very interested to learn how many were made just like mine. Might be wishful thinking though?
Anyway, I am thrilled with my new ride. My wife and I were talking about it today, and we both agree that it is the best all around car we have ever owned; puts my Mustang GT right to shame in all aspects! When Bill ships my new reflector lens and speaker grille, the car will be absolutely showroom condition. I can't for the life of me understand why the previous owner wanted to get rid of it.
Does anyone out there have a bra for their Bonnie? I can't picture what it would do for the look of the car, and I am thus reluctant to buy one until I see the results. I just dread the thought of getting any stone chips, as a result of the lousy rural roads here.

IMO, your color is not as uncommon as dark bronze mist. Here'* a picture of my 99:

In the five years we've owned it, I've seen only 4 Bonnies with that color: 2 here, one in person, and ironically enough, one currently on ebay.

With a bra, you'll trade stone chips for mismatched paint after it fades a little, and a "chapped" clearcoat from the bra rubbing against it. I vote no bra!

Of course, I always vote "no bra".

Please start a new topic in Detailing and Appearance to discuss the bra. Let'* keep this topic regarding the uncommon color.
