I still have a while hoping to replace air filter with a cold air kit and get a a/c bypass pulley and full synthetic change.

If it aint nailed down, remove it. Spare tire, jack, trunk liner, rear seat, passenger seat, everything. Keep the weight down, less to get up to speed, and less to slow down.

make sure everything that is tied down is tight, the inspector will usually try to shake the battery and things like that.

Track/Race prep.
1. AAA card
2. Track under 100 miles from home
3. A buddy to keep you company if you break

Pulling stuff out of the car/trunk is unrealistic if you are trying to understand how fast your car truly is. Sure..pull the spare at the track if you want. It doesn't make that much of a difference overall.
