Default quick question about engines...

Hey,

Does anyone know if a 3800 series 3 SC engine can be a drop in replacement for a series 2 SC in a 2k+? Or would something like that be completely out of the question?

I don't need one, but, hey... it seems to have a better power curve... and more power

thanks

Yes it can. Once you change the throttle body over from the S3 drive by wire.

Ed McGrath is currently in the process of doing this swap in his car. Check out his thread in P&B I believe.
