the 'Offical" name of the Bonnes roof is a Astroroof.....


a sunroof only flips up and the Moonroof slides back either into the roof or above it

Sunroofs can either slide outside the car[GP style] or pop up. Moonroofs pop up or slide inside the car.

on my moms old 1993 mercedes 500SEL it had a option for a sunroof, OR a moonroof. she had the sunroof, which was steel painted to the color of the car. the moonroof was a $1200 upgrade option, which gave you the glass, and the sliding cover. i still have the window sticker say "sunroof" and the dealer brochure stating the difference.

I've had this same discussion before. Very easy to type it into google and learn the differences.

Price varies on what you get and how good of an install job is done. Many bonnes have aftermarket roofs...
