I was trying to stay under the speed limit but recently I've been driving rediculously. Sometimes up to 110mph with an average of 80mph. Must be a lot of my recent stress. I definiteily will chill and keep it at speed limit maximum in good conditions on sunday and I think after that try to keep about that as well. There are a lot of cops prowling around and I've been lucky so far but I don't want to push it, especially with a white cursed bonne.

I'm in...and like to add to the call that we all drive responsibily at all times. For many years now, I've answered the calls of people running into each others cars, people, poles, guard rails....some not injured, some seriously injured or killed. More and more drivers seem to have one driving skill, and that'* for the middle of summer, middle of the day, and dry roads. They outrun their headlights at night, drive too fast in wet or slippery conditions, etc. Even if *you* have the skills to handle your car...are you *that* confident of the driver that you're ready to overtake, or is waiting at the side of the road?
All of us make certain assumptions while were driving. If we're wating at the stop sign in a 45 mph zone, we'll look down the road for clearance of people doing around that speed...not someone doing 65-70. Same thing with lane changes on the freeways.
Please, be careful out there. There are a lot of people who care for you, as well as the person you are likely to "meet". What is that important that a minute or two will make a difference? Want the "rush" of speed? Take it to the track...and always "bring 'em back alive"
**edit** or better yet...everyone goes home!
....climbs down off from the soapbox....

However sometimes a simple step for a single day is a beginning when it comes to correcting long held misconceptions.
