Proof!
Is there a GM certified link that I can go into so I can prove to some ppl in my club that #1 the differences in hp and torque from 87-03 and #2 that the Impala SS final year was in 96. 1997 there weren't anymore made until 99?
Chilton'* manual #28200, page 1-11 has them all listed. This book is usually on the shelf at any auto parts store. It covers the Bonneville/Eighty Eight/ LeSabre for 1986-1999. That'* the best source I know of.
I'm not familiar with any GM source, but if that'* not good enough for them, let them wallow in ignorance
Your car is listed as (93, Vin 1, SC):
205hp@4400, 260tq@2600
There is some possible erroneous data on this page, but 93 is accurate. For instance, the 95 and 95 Vin 1 are PROBABLY inaccurate. It lists the 95 as being the same specs as the Series 2 which didn't appear until the following year for Vin 1.

That should take care of the Impala.

And thats the SC 1993 Bonneville solution.

I'm not liking that they used our SCed 3800 Series II in it.... they should have toned it down with a 3.1L or 3.4L SC engine.
Doesn't the Monte Carlo have the same engine? NA and SCed?
