Well spent a few hours at the garage this morning and from what I see it'* not too bad. Here is what I can remember.
Compression is 145 on 4 cylinders, 155 on one but only 100 on the last one, possibly due to getting carboned up from sitting there, not a major concern.
Front brakes, front strut bearings, rear wheel bearing, rear fuel line, brake lines, emerge cables, one tail light bulb, a few little patches for the floor to seal it good, box in the rear unibody ( where the bumper mounts, he had no prob passing it for me ), muffler, rear hold down kit for brakes, Ummmmm, oh yeah
Beleive it or not it still had factory GM wires on it and I don't think the plugs were far behind, so a regualr tune up, plugs wires, fuel filter.
I think that is about it, that I can remember.
I will get the damage this afternoon once he gets the prices and add labour to it.
Rear shocks too, it currently does have the air shocks but I may just get regualr ones for now, so I can get the car on the road.
Has anyone ever priced out those air shocks for a 1990 sse???

Yet another update.
I was at Crappy tire ( canadian tire) and ended up buying 2 new rear shocks with the air ride for 70$ each, and also picked up new pads and rotors. just under 300$ for the parts to date. Now lets hope the labour to finish the car won't be too much.

Well the bonne has been sitting at the garage for the last 3-4 weeks and they shoudl start working on it on Tuesday. They would have started sooner but I want a specific person to do the work and no other person.
Lokks like it will cost just under 2,000$ to get it back on the road and that is including labour. It is going to cost about the same is not more for labour than parts.
SOOOOO hopefully in a few weeks it will be back on the road for my fiance to drive. ( I will be out of town so much that I will have to fight her for it when I am in town.

Well Gas tank, fuel lines and exhaust have been removed.
Need a new tank, but sending unit is still mint. Also the air lines need to be replaced going to the shocks ( also getting replaced).
The ball is rolling, hopefully downhill and not up.

Well it seems that soem of the posts disapeared when the server died so here is teh final bill, I scanned it and they are nto that small, they are done in 640x480 so you could read all the typing. It should be pretty readable cause it is scanned from computer paper( the bill).
Sorry to those on dial up.

LMAO.
Well it is on the road and driving that is the main thing. It sat long enough with us just looking at it wanting to drive it.
A few minor things I would like to do like changing the fron tshocks. They sre still good and pass but they are to soft I figure from age, like my 90 cutlass I had. It floats too much, especially at higher speeds, you hit a little bump and it feels like you are on a boat.
Other than that it'* pretty good.

Just another quicl update. I decided to change the front shocks to get ride of the "boat" like feeling ( I think it is original struts). They go in on Monday. While I was there I had to get my collant sensor changed since it kept telling me that I was low on coolonat.
As for the front end noise I may have mentioned before the server crash it ended up being the link kits for the sway bar. Had them changed and boy it is like night and day.
This car is coming together quite nicely, then again it is white and we are just waiting for the curse to happen.
If the car was in an accident with the Provious Owner, does that count towards the curse and maybe save me from it??, LOL
