Default Project Blue has started. DAY 3 NOW WITH PICS!!!!!

today was day 1 of my build up of my Blue 92 bonneville SE....i smoked a rod bearing last year right after i fixed what started as a head gasket repair.

Transmission was also giving me hell...so a new one is in the trunk right now...

so list of mod/repairs over the next 5 days

Crankshaft kit with rods and mains
Transmission with 84000 miles on it.....the car currently has 200400 miles
Ball joints
HD Sway Bar links
i'm gonna try to do a home port on the exhaust manifolds
probably a new ac system

Today'* goal was to remove the Engine and trans unit..which was a pain LMAO. 2 morrow is probably just getting the crank in..and probably clean the **** outta the engine bay. and paint a few things ^_^

I think you should call it "Project Neptune" since Neptune is blue. Just a thought.

But it sounds like fun...

James, Bring a lunch man. It sounds like you've got everything mapped out nicely. Have fun with the project, keep us posted. Maybe a few pics as a bonus. : )

Well not much progress today.we did manage to get the harmonic balancer off and the water pump...which is bad. broke a stud off in the timing cover....last one holding it on..and the magnet for the camsensor is busted...fun fun. Tranny mount is toast too...lol.
