nope the roof gives the car all the support. Without the roof you car literally fold hte car in half

I realize that the sub-frame would have to sectioned and beefed up, construct a dummy boot, some finish work at the top of the windshield frame and door post etc....

could you possibably have a metal rail running on both sides just above the windows above the winshield and one solid bar also running by the back window so that there will be enough support for it.

There would have to be a way to stiffen up the frame/unibody. If I ever get my hands on a bonnie that'* in bad shape and I got some time on my hands, I want to make a fairweather ride with suicide doors. Maybe a removable hard top?
