Default Pontiac Logo Removal (PICS UPDATED)

I began the process of removing my logo, in order to patch up some bald spots on my trunk I used Dental Floss, Goo Gone and some time. So heres some pics

When you remove the badges, do you need a repaint? or does the adhesive come off to reveal clean paint underneath?

the paint is usually better under the badge...unless you are really bad about taking it off...

polish it all up, and you shouldnt even be able to tell anything was there
