As ya'll know my car was busted into. So I am gradually repairing things myself to save money. Now...that black molding piece that is on the rear edge of the front doors was pryed apart on the passenger side. Can anyone tell me how to get it off??? By looking at the new one, I can see that it'* held on by 3 screws...but I have no idea how to get to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about the 'fat SSE trim', it just snaps on and off. The screws hold the plastic snaps that the trim attaches to. I've never had mine off, but Jseabert has dealt with his, as well as a couple others. Wait for someone to chime in, or PM Jseabert.

Not the body side molding. The shiny black plastic piece on the door itself. When you open the door, it'* on the outside edge of the window.

Ahhh, the to black shiney things by thee window? If you cant pry it down, go to the junkyard, they should have them available there. If the Bonney isnt there try the LeSabre or Park Avenue to see if they fit as well

Wait! Those are cheap. I just did mine a couple months back. There'* a couple hidden screws. I can take pics later, and give you part numbers and prices. They're cheap, and easy. NEW CHEAP!

I work for a car dealer so I get parts pretty cheap. I got a new set of molding things. All I need is to figure out how they go on.

You'll have to wait until this evening. It'* really simple, but I need to look at my car and snap a couple pics. You have to peel the molding back to expose the screw, then slide the old one UP and off.

Any luck with pics? I really need to get this thing put on, it'* driving me nuts.

Oops. You're replacing the trim on the driver'* door? I did the driver'* side PASSENGER door, but it should be similar. I brainfarted this, but I'll get into my door and factory service manuals this afternoon for sure.
