I got wasted last year by a GN.
He was pushing 12.5 sec in the 1/4. Not stock, of course, but damn near.
If you want to beat them, wait till they stage then pull some sneaky delay tactics so they overheat the turbo. :P

if I'm not mistaken don't they run 12.5 stock??? correct me if I'm wrong
The regular 245 hp & 330 ft-lbs GN was a low 14 sec car in the quarter.
All it took was a Chip, adjustable fuel regulator and a couple of turns of the adjustable waste gate rod to turn the boost up to get mid 12 sec 1/4 mi times.
They also need slicks to hook up all that power.
Very easy to get 450 hp out of these 3800 engines.
It was not the exact same 3800 engine that we have in our Bonne'*.....and I'm not just referring to the Turbo.
At MGM3 (all Grand Prix drag race day, although regals and other W-bodies are allowed), there was a Black T-Type. He was just testing to get his car ready for racing that evening, but he ran like 5 times and only made it to the end twice. He was messing with something and kept messing it up but finally got it right at the end. But his first run and last run were the only 2 that he actually got a decent run. I think the first run was like a 9.7@132 and the last was like a 9.6@135 or something. What was really funny though was when he ran a GTP, and the regal quit running halfway down the track and coasted and beat the GTP, and the GTP ran a low 14, it was funny. Anyways, just thought I would share my story.
