Isn't it illegal to drive a car with a salvage title? Cause I looked at a car that was hit in the back and the seller told me it wasn't street legal b/c of the salvage title.

Here in WI its not illegal to drive a salvage title vehicle as long as it passes the state vehicle inspection.

We don't have state inspections either.
