Sometimes when you meet a member you can tell they are addicted to the car before they arrive. That was the case for Peace.

During the week we talked over some possible maintenance since he had some misfires and other random codes. He returned to the Villa tonight for us to get his car running better.

Scanner said the only cylinder misfiring was #1 and badly. Back to the house to find the last mechanic left the #1 wire...sitting in place only. Not clicked on, just sitting. Who doesn't like the easy fixes.

Then we addressed some fueling issues, ran more testing. Peace will be making his first call to INTENSE soon.

I let him drive mine as well. (Hey Dan...uh..not a good place to speed....lol)

It'* always great to hear of a new "die hard" member. I'd bet that you'll be assisting him in "healing" the bites from that mod bug.

As for the whine...I was harassing my friend in her stock SSEi when she had to step on it a bit. I told her, not bad - but, where'* the whine? The response was..."sitting in the seat next to me!"

Following BC techinfo, I have changed the stat to 180, something i did to my old bonnie too, I have 3 of those 195'* in the trunk, always a good thing to do, changed the PCV, changed the oil to Mobil 1, the filter to a Pure One 1quart, and Bill changed the oil pressure regulator. Not mods but a starting point for a car I have only had for about a month.
